Esta nueva versión de esta historia de Tolstoy, con varias subtramas que siguen a personajes secundarios y la trama principal de la joven Anna Karenina envuelta en su trágico romance con un conde.
A pesar del particular método del director Joe Wright, los actores están correctos en sus papeles y la parte visual es deslumbrante, sólo resta saber si “Anna Karenina” pasará al olvido como otra adaptación más de la novela de Tolstoy o si el esfuerzo de Wright y compañía dará sus frutos y logrará perdurar en la memoria de los espectadores durante mucho tiempo.
